Job Overview:
The University of Lagos is hiring a Deputy Head Teacher to support school leadership and ensure academic excellence. The role requires a strong background in teaching, administration, and leadership within an educational setting.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), B.A (Ed.) or B.A./B.Sc. with a PGDE from a recognized institution

  • At least Second Class Lower

  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption/Exclusion

  • TRCN Certificate (compulsory)

  • A higher degree (e.g. M.Ed., M.Sc.) is an added advantage


Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 21 years teaching experience

  • Proven leadership and administrative experience

  • Professional management training

  • Experience in a school of similar status
