Job Objective
Ensure safety of staff, livestock, and assets by managing all aspects of farm security, from surveillance and patrol to emergency response and biosecurity.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations:

Develop and enforce farm-wide security strategies, SOPs, and risk control plans.

Monitor and secure entry/exit points, poultry houses, feed storage, and offices.

Conduct risk assessments and coordinate regular patrols.

Manage CCTV, alarm systems, and emergency response protocols.
Personnel Management:

Supervise and train all security personnel.

Ensure guards are disciplined, well-equipped, and protocol-compliant.

Organize staff training on emergency procedures and security awareness.
Incident Management:

Investigate thefts, damages, or breaches; write detailed reports with solutions.

Coordinate with police and emergency services where needed.

Maintain accurate security records.
Biosecurity Enforcement:

Support disease prevention measures with strict entry/exit control.

Work with vets and farm managers to keep disinfection points functional.
Requirements

Proven experience in a similar security leadership role (preferably in agricultural or industrial environments).

Strong team leadership, crisis response, and surveillance knowledge.

Familiarity with biosecurity practices is a plus.
