Job Summary

The Contracts and Costs Specialist is responsible for managing contracts and controlling costs for fabric maintenance and revamp projects. The role focuses on ensuring effective contract execution, accurate financial planning, and budget control, while also minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in contract development, review, and bidding stages up to award.

  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and contract terms.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of contract approvals, change orders, and financial transactions.

  • Track and report KPIs related to cost efficiency, compliance, and performance.

  • Conduct cost audits, reconciliations, and resolve contractual disputes.

  • Prepare and monitor cost estimates, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.

  • Support contract variations, claims, and amendments processes.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Engineering, or Sciences.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract management and cost control in LNG, oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Familiarity with Nigerian Content Development (NCDMB) policies.

  • Strong skills in MS Excel and financial reporting.

  • Good understanding of contract drafting, cost estimation, budget tracking, and vendor negotiation.
