 Job Description

As a Cashier, your key responsibilities will include:

Payment Handling

• Receive payments for accommodation, food, drinks, and services

• Accept payments via cash, POS, transfers, etc.

• Issue receipts and ensure accurate transaction recording

Billing & Reconciliation

• Prepare invoices for all guest purchases

• Reconcile payments at the end of each shift

• Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions

Guest Service

• Attend politely to guests’ payment inquiries

• Clearly explain all charges and resolve billing issues

• Maintain calm, professional behavior when handling complaints

Record-Keeping

• Keep accurate daily records of transactions

• Submit cash summaries to accounts department

• Properly document all transactions, refunds, or discounts

Coordination

• Liaise with front desk, kitchen, and service teams to confirm charges

• Notify other departments once payments are made

• Report any issues with POS or receipt machines

 Requirements

• SSCE minimum

• Honest, polite, and customer-focused

• Attention to detail and good numerical skills

• Able to work with little or no supervision

• Basic knowledge of POS systems is a plus
