Job Description
IT audit managers direct a team of internal IT audit staff who monitor a company’s computer network for possible mismanagement, fraud, and inefficiency. These managers must ensure that IT audit practices comply with company procedures and government regulations. IT audit managers don’t just point out system flaws; they also promote efficient practices by recommending improvements in processing capability, user interface, and security designs.
A significant portion of this job involves evaluating IT accounting practices to trace a company’s resources. As managers implement auditing policies, they make sure that their institution has adequate technology and system controls to meet business objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree holder with 8 years of experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity or IT management. Candidates with less experience will be considered Senior IT Auditor
- Obtained relevant professional qualifications such as CISA or CISSP
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin is desirable
- 50% travel should be expected
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing corporate audit strategies, policies, and procedures
- Develop internal audit plans, follow up on the status of audit issues and coordinate audit reports, etc.
- Perform data analytic works to support and enhance the audit tests
- Ensure risks are effectively identified, and constructive advice is provided for solving or mitigating risks and controlling issues
- Conduct IT audit to review cybersecurity, general IT operations, and application controls
Average Salary: HK$50,000
