Job Description
The Company client is a Global IT solutions company seeking a Social Media Manager for their new innovative gaming projects, which aim to create a virtual world leveraging AR and MR.
The Social Media Manager will lead the digital team to develop a social media strategy and drive engagement by creating high-quality original content. The Social Media Manager will engage influencers and manage Group’s community by responding to comments and overseeing the engagements across all online platforms.
The Social Media Manager oversees and monitors the company’s brand on social media. The Social Media Manager will manage the online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
He/she will be responding to comments on various social media channels. The Social Media Manager will develop a company’s online advertising campaigns and formulate high-quality novel was written and visual content for social media campaigns.
As a Team Leader, he/she will liaise and coach the teammates on content creation with best practices. This role will also increase brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers and KOL.To perform tracking, the Social Media Manager will analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved business objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 4+ years of solid experience in managing social media channels and growing users organically through content creation and posts; an experienced Internet company or Gaming Developer would be highly preferable.
The Social Media Manager should have an in-depth understanding of social media and strong KOL networks based in Hong Kong. Basic knowledge of Augmented Reality and the Metaverse would be a strength for this role.
The Social Media Manager should have a proven ability to build social media communities and understand graphic design principles. Experienced with team leading and as a Brand Manager on social media would be highly preferred.
A fluent English speaker is a must, with strong proficiency in Chinese and fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.
