Job Description
A Consultant of Dermatology consults with patients, determines skin ailments, prescribes medication, undertakes skin therapy treatment, or performs non-intrusive surgery.Responsibilities of a Dermatologist (specialized in Aesthetics) include:
- Offering skin consultations.
- Assessing patient skin conditions by screening for disease.
- Using the medical history of a patient to perform skin assessments.
- Prescribe medications for the treatment of skin conditions.
- Performing non-invasive surgical procedures on the skin.
- Referring patients to advanced specialists.
- Educating patients about the status of their skin health
- Frequently treats patients for aesthetic reasons – like smoothing wrinkles, correcting skin tone and texture, and tightening up sagging skin.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Doctorate/ Fellowship/ Membership/ Board Certification in the relevant specialty.
- Licensing: Valid License from the Ministry of Health-Kuwait to practice as a Consultant of Dermatology (preferred)
Skills
- Interacts compassionately with patients and is attentive to their concerns
- Good listener
- Excellent communicators and skin health educators
- Proficient with dermatological tools for skin repair
- Computer Skills: Word, Outlook, and Internet
