Job Description.
The company client is a leading education organization in Winchester that is currently looking for a full-time, permanent Domestic Gas Engineer to join their existing maintenance team. This is a static role on a single estate.
Your new role
You will be carrying out planned and reactive domestic gas maintenance across a large estate. You will be undertaking a full range of heating and plumbing repairs. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Regular monitoring and recording of temperatures and repairs to water systems
- Legionella control
- Regular inspection and repair of hot and cold water systems
- Undertake annual servicing to domestic boilers
- Clearance of blocked wastes, soil or drainage pipes
- Pressurized water vessels
This is a Monday-Friday role working between 8 am and 5 pm with a 4 pm finish on a Friday. There is a 1-in-8 call-out rota.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have obtained an NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, CCN-1, CPA-1, and CENWAT1 and experience within a similar maintenance role.
