Job Description.
We are looking for a passionate individual to work as part of a friendly, dedicated science department to further enhance the support and guidance offered to young people. If successful, you would facilitate and encourage learning, which enables students to achieve high standards: to share and support corporate responsibility for the well-being, education, and discipline of all students.
At GCSE, students either study the AQA Trilogy Combined Science course or can opt to study separate sciences during the Year 9 Options process. At Key Stage 5, students can study A-Levels in biology, chemistry, and physics, and the school also offers the BTEC Applied Science course.
Requirements
- Honours degree in relevant specialism.
- QTS or working towards QTS (which must be attained before the start date)
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Relevant experience gained in teaching and/or ITT placement.
- Up-to-date DBS or willing to complete a new application
