Business Analyst/Power BI Developer – St. Louis, MO
On-Site 5 days a week – Must be St. Louis Local
Most Important Skills:
- Power BI Advanced knowledge: High Dax Skill: CALCULATE, FILTER, SUMX, FORMAT, INT, Nested IF statements, Time logic eg. Dateadd etc.
- Power Query
- PowerPivot (Data Modeling)
· SQL – Desired, not required
· SNOWFLAKE – a plus, not required
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creates Power BI solutions for internal and external customers including modeling and visuals.
• Conducts customer discovery meetings to determine reporting requirements.
• Works closely with application development team members to support and maintain performance improvements and data quality.
• Acts as subject matter expert (SME) and provides guidance and training to internal and external customers on deploying Power BI solutions.
• Develops and maintains the data warehouse, ETLs and reports based on technical designs and adhering to department standards, development standards, and best practices.
• Coordinates the transition of customer business requirements and technical needs with other members of the IT and Operations teams to ensure a timely and effective implementation of company solutions.
• Participates in quality assurance testing processes to confirm that acceptance criteria are met.
