Hospitality client is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for creating visually appealing mobile and responsive user-friendly designs and assets that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
$30-$35/hr.
Must work onsite in Calabasas Monday through Thursday, Fridays work remote.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, I.T., Creative, and Marketing, to conceptualize, design, and develop graphics, icons, and visual elements optimized for mobile devices and responsive web design for consumer-centered digital solutions for brand websites, company app, and other digital assets, optimizing for mobile and desktop users alike while adhering to ADA compliance best practices and standards.
- Website Development: Contribute to company’s website rebuild and maintenance, ensuring seamless navigation, engaging interactions, and an aesthetically pleasing user interface.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Create compelling graphics, illustrations, and multimedia elements that enhance the user experience and support digital marketing efforts.
- Ensure a consistent visual identity across all digital channels and maintain brand guidelines while infusing innovation and creativity into your designs.
- Conduct cross-browser functionality, usability tests, and gather feedback to validate design decisions, incorporating insights into design iterations and improvements.
- Collaborate with the development team to design, update, maintain and enhance the user interface and user experience.
Experience
- Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Responsive and Mobile Design, or a related field.
- 3-5 years experience as a Digital Designer or UX/UI Specialist, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital projects across web, mobile, responsive, and email platforms.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Creatopy or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, ADA compliance best practices and standards, information architecture, and responsive design.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
