ScentAir Japan is looking for a Sales Leader who keen to develop the team and grow the business rapidly. You will lead the Japan Sales Organization to drive and grow both revenue and profit through direct recurring business and distributors in Japan for delivering targets. You will also be responsible on building and developing our brand and product awareness through various channels.

REPORT TO: Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a small sales team to acquire, penetrate and retain direct customers recurring business effectively and efficiently
  • Manage and grow distributor channels in targeted market segments and territories
  • Engage Decision Makers of targeted global and local Strategic Accounts to identify their business needs and create ScentAir opportunities
  • Establish Sales Team’s KPI and coach the team achieving targets
  • Monitor actual business results against plan and communicate status to all stakeholders. Develop business corrective actions to ensure business on track.
  • Work with Regional Function Teams and Global Strategic Sales Team in professional manner
  • Lead and coach Technical Service Representative to deliver high level of technical service and customer engagement
  • Act as an effective People Manager in the Sales Organization with support from Regional HR Team

Skills & Qualifications

 

  • University degree
  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in business-to-business environment on both direct sales and channel sales. Working experience in international companies is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of Sales Leader experience in managing a small team effectively with remote team members
  • Solid solution selling experience (not transactional) with track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets demonstrated
  • Solid Strategic or Key Accounts Management skill is an advantage
  • Ability of identifying problems, drawing connections from various pieces of data, and resolve problems proactively
  • Outgoing personality, presentable and approachable
  • Experience on diversified workplace environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels
  • Result oriented with sound business and financial acumen
  • Computer literacy and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience on CRM application (such as Salesforce) is preferred
  • Native in Japanese. Business communicative level in both verbal and written English
  • Immediate available preferred
