Software Test Engineer –> Junior or Medior Profile Possible!
Our client – a social organization in Ghent where people are central:
In the ICT department, a dynamic team of 30 employees, agile working is the norm and innovation is ongoing. They meet 2 to 3 times a week at the office near Sint Pieters station in Ghent.
What are you going to do?
As a Test Engineer at ACLVB you play a crucial role in our high-end Scrum development team. You are responsible for:
Developing and implementing the testing process.
Ensuring the smooth running of testing, identifying
problems/risks and taking the necessary measures.
Regularly reporting on progress and delivering test reports.
Proactively identifying improvements in our testing strategies, techniques and
test environments.
Combination of manual testing and growth towards automation
Who are we looking for?
You have a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in a computer science related field.
Experience in a Scrum context and tailoring your testing approach to this.
Sound knowledge of structured testing, testing methods and techniques (e.g. Tmap
Test Manager, ISTQB Test Manager).
Skilled in drawing up test scenarios, performing functional tests, analyzing test results and drawing up test reports.
Experience with SQL, unit and integration testing and end-to-end testing is required.
Experience with test automation tools is highly appreciated.
