PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Within IVG Group Procurement – Indirect team, the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategical tasks.

This includes:

  • Suppliers selection and sourcing for assigned product lines. This includes RFQ activity, analysis of supplier responses and quotes and placing blanket purchase orders;
  • Leading and facilitation of pricing negotiations and contract discussions, dealing with all the Company Departments needed to fulfill the targets;
  • Develop / implement supply base management strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing;
  • Support cost savings initiatives for sourcing area base;
  • Support special projects as necessary.
  • Support and resolve supplier issues such as accounts payable resolution, past due deliveries, and risks related to production lines and aftermarket customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • (preferred) Mechanical Engineering degree or similar degree
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team member
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • SAP knowledge (preferred)
