BKW France began operating wind farms in 2014 with the acquisition of its first wind farm. Since then, 10 other wind farms have been added to the portfolio, for around 200 MW of Asset Under Management. BKW France is wholly owned by BKW AG, the Swiss listed utility based in Bern.

The team is growing and looking for a new member who is dynamic, friendly and loves not only renewable energies but also taking on challenges.

Job description

The role is to ensure the administrative processes and management of “commercial contract” (Power sale/purchase) of BKW companies in France (11 operating companies, 2 holding company of which 1 service entity).

The position is based in Paris, with some travel to BKW Headquarter and to French wind farms.

The line manager is the Head of TCM Europe.

The position interfaces with the Asset Manager France, and with the BKW head office in Switzerland (accounting, controlling and treasury in particular).

The role works closely with the 2 Wind Farm Operations Managers.

Your main tasks:

Accounting and contract management activities:

  • Customers and suppliers: recording, checking, issuing and posting invoices and follow-up
  • Lease management:
  • Interface with owners and operators, checking and issuing receipts, etc.
  • Management of landowners/farmers (management of agreements

“Commercial Management” / Management of Power purchase/sale agreement:

  • Issuing and transmitting electricity production invoices
  • Ensuring proper settlement of contract and verifying amounts to be collected
  • Ensuring compliance with all required regulations in the renewable energy production field

Administrative function:

  • Purchasing supplies,
  • Infrastructure management,
  • Compliance with legal obligations (posters, communication and internal regulations),
  • Staff travel management
  • Assistance with legal formalities, in particular annual closings and publicity, in coordination with the legal department and accounting firms
  • Archiving of commercial, accounting and administrative documents,
  • Mail and call management

Management control:

  • Support accounting & controlling BKW group (budget, cost control)
  • Support in preparing reports to other stakeholders (project financing banks, and minority shareholders of some wind farms)

Internal communications:

  • Participation in regulatory and market monitoring
  • Development of best practice, standardisation
  • Internalisation of services, where applicable

Project management and support:

  • Support for the management of service providers and customers (drawing up and monitoring quotations and contracts, negotiation, acceptance checks, dispute management, declarations by external contractors)
  • Support for declarations relating to environmental permits and administrative authorisations for wind farms,
  • Assistance with project management for acquisition of new facilities (due diligence, document management)

Your Profile:

You will have at least 5 years’ experience of working as an administrative and/or accounting and/or “commercial management” (management of Power sale/purchase agreement), preferably in the wind or PV energy sector, or, alternatively, in the energy/infrastructure business. We are also open to evaluate candidates with different working experience.

Mastership of Excel/Word/PowerPoint is a prerequisite, solid SAP knowledge is a strong plus.

Working language is French. You are fluent in English and have good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of German language is a plus.

Job description:

The role is to ensure the commercial and administrative processes of BKW companies in France (eleven operating companies, two holding companies including a service entity).

The position is based in Paris with travel to wind farms located in the provinces, the BKW headquarters in Switzerland and to the subsidiaries of the BKW group.

The line manager is the TCM Europe manager.

The position interfaces with the Asset Manager France and with the BKW headquarters in Switzerland (accounting, controlling and treasury in particular).

The role is in close collaboration with the two wind farm operations managers.

Main missions :

 

Accounting and contract management activities:

Customers and suppliers: Registration, control, issuing and accounting of invoices and monitoring
Lease management: interface with owners and operators, verification and issuance of receipts, etc.

“Commercial Management” / Management of electricity purchase/sale agreements:

Issuance and transmission of electricity production invoices
Payment control and verification of amounts
Management in compliance with applicable regulations in the field of renewable energies

Administrative function:

Purchase of supplies,
Infrastructure management,
Compliance with legal obligations (display, communication and internal regulations),
Staff travel management
Assistance with legal formalities, including annual closings and advertising, in coordination with the legal department and accounting firms
Archiving of commercial, accounting and administrative documents,
Mail and call management

Management control:

Accounting & controlling support for the BKW group (budget, cost control),
Support for the preparation of reports for stakeholders (financing bank, minority shareholder of certain wind farms)

Internal communication:

Participation in regulatory and market monitoring
Development of best practices, standardization
Internalization of services, if applicable

Project management and support:

Support for the management of service providers and customers (establishment and monitoring of offers and contracts, negotiation, reception control, dispute management, declarations from external contractors)
Support for declarations relating to environmental permits and administrative authorizations for wind farms,
Assistance to project management for the acquisition of new installations (due diligence, document management)

 

Profile :

You have at least 5 years of experience as an administrative and/or accounting employee and/or in “commercial management” (management of an electricity purchase/sale contract), preferably in the electricity sector. wind or photovoltaic energy, or in the energy/infrastructure sector. We are also open to evaluating candidates with different professional experience.

Mastery of EXCEL/WORD/Powerpoint is essential, mastery of SAP is a plus.

The working language is French, you speak English fluently and you have good interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the German language is a plus.

You are responsive, rigorous and have a good team spirit.
