Job Description

The Company’s client is a global enterprise which designs, sources, manufactures and distributes apparel and accessories. It supports over 2,600 retail accounts around the world. It is a joint venture of a US-listed company. They are hiring an Accountant or Senior Accountant. This role will support the HK finance team as a regional hub for the sourcing business and report to an Assistant Finance Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mainly responsible for operational accounting duties, such as AP, AR and intercompany transactions and month-end closing work, with a high priority on sourcing financial activities
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately
• Support HK / Singapore / Vietnam office’s accounting function
• Perform system set-up (SAP and InfoNexus) and testing process
• Prepare year-ended audit and Ad-hoc assignments
• Liaises with local external auditor and tax advisor to assist on the statutory annual audit and tax work

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance; qualified CPA is an advantage
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in the trading/apparel sourcing industry
• Independent; proactive; responsible; able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
• Excellent computer skills in ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office

Average Salary: HK$ Negotiable
