Job Summary:
Chessington Schools is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant (Bursar) to manage the school’s financial records, prepare statements, handle budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep accurate financial records and reports

  • Prepare financial statements and school budgets

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Analyze financial data and forecasts

  • Ensure compliance with accounting rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • ACCA, CIMA, or other accounting certifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in financial planning and school accounting is a plus
