Business Analyst – Warehouse Management

Position Summary

We want to add a knowledgeable IT Business Analyst to the ‘Global’ Warehouse Management product team to drive new capabilities supporting the business needs as defined and aligned in the joint technology roadmap (Business and IT).

As a member of the team, you will be accountable for driving additions to the product roadmaps (New and changing business capabilities) incorporating digital, automation, analytics, and innovation to ensure maximum and measurable business value.

You will deliver according to the agreed scope split in collaboration with your colleagues in the wider product team, ensuring integrated solutions and leveraging our ‘Offshore’ partner according to ‘Agile’ methods. You will guide the end-to-end team, ensuring delivery according to agreed outcomes.

You will collaborate work with various functional leaders, business-facing analysts, and architects, influencing/shaping their strategies with regards to product adoption, building new capabilities, or bettering the user experience.

A day in the life of

1. Extend/enhance business capabilities according to aligned scope supported by SAP WM, EWM, ‘Complementary,’ ‘Integrated’, and ‘Edge’ applications/solutions.
2. Responsible for understanding gaps, expected and measurable business outcomes, and then working with the rest of the community to deliver solutions – creating integration between business and IT.
3. Work with Functional and IT Leaders to develop their product roadmaps and input into the broader ‘Global’ product roadmap.
4. Manage the development of the business capability according to the split of responsibilities and influence the product manager regarding your product roadmap and business priorities / ROI. This while ensuring budget vs. confirmed business benefit is managed to deliver the best value.
5. Take ownership of product and process maturity, pain points, opportunities, and influence as needed to ensure resolution (remain aligned with global Product Managers).
6. Meet regularly with each IT functional stream and Functional Relationship Manager to ensure they understand the value of the products and look for additional opportunities.
7. Drive IT product marketing campaigns, communication strategies, and surveys supporting assessing the maturity of our tools, leading to increased adoption and value generation.
8. Perform Quarterly reviews for your products.

What will make you successful

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product or equivalent experience.
• Functional knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management), including end-to-end business process knowledge.
• 5+ years experience working in the IT Function.
• 2+ years of experience working with and having functional knowledge of SAP (i.e., end-to-end process or integration).
• 2+ years of experience in a product owner or product management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product or equivalent experience.
• Functional knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• 1+ years of experience working with third-party vendors.
