Job Description

Job contentTo develop forest resource biomass power plant projects (5-10 units) of 10 MW or more in Japan, we will promote overall business, such as securing fuel supply sources and appropriate land.

Responsibilities 

• Analyze and report on the forest and timber business situation to develop power plant projects, and identify companies to supply forest resources.
• Formulating and executing woody biomass supply strategies for each power plant project.
• Negotiate with forestry cooperatives/companies, timber companies, etc., to establish contracts for biomass fuel supply to power plants.
• Acquisition of suitable sites for power plants close to areas of forest biomass supply.
• Build and maintain good relationships with significant stakeholders (forestry stakeholders, government officials such as municipal and prefectural officials, and other stakeholders).

Location:Tokyo, but may require domestic and overseas business trips as neededAnnual income:Preferential treatment based on experience　Optional annual bonus based on performance

Required Skills / Desired Profile :

• Experience in forest resources business in rural Japan.
• Good skills in interpersonal and business relationships
• Business negotiations and relationship maintenance with local governments, experience in management experience, negotiation for license applications with local governments, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in biomass power generation and thermal power generation is desirable
• High motivation for the successful development plan of Equis for the biomass power project
