- Your roleIn your role as construction manager for battery storage systems, with a focus on civil engineering and electrical installation, you are part of Kyon’s project management team and are responsible for the phase from detailed planning through construction to commissioning and handover for several stationary battery storage systems. In this way, you actively make a decisive contribution to the success of the energy transition in terms of a clean and independent energy supply.Your tasks
You will be responsible for construction management for stationary battery storage systems with >15 MW of connected load. You will work with the project team at the office location in Munich and coordinate the stakeholders on construction sites throughout Germany
You advise and support the project developers and project managers with the planning and applications for the construction projects
You create construction site regulations with safety regulations as well as instructions on labor law and traffic law and monitor compliance with them
You act as a project contact and coordinator for everyone involved on the construction sites (link between the project manager and project-related trades) as well as for all work to be carried out on the construction site and ensure that the assembly and commissioning are carried out on time, professionally, with quality, economically and safely
You are responsible for personnel and material coordination and scheduling on the construction site and create billable measurements as well as revision and documentation documents and prepare addenda and, if necessary, notices of obstruction
You create operating manuals and a test and commissioning program, which also includes the scope of testing for cold, warm/hot commissioning.
You carry out the construction inspection, take part in the trial operation and ensure that all essential remaining points are completed. If the requirements are met, you recommend acceptance to the client
your profile
You have completed a degree or training in the field of civil engineering, construction technology, electrical engineering or similar and have good knowledge, particularly in the areas of civil engineering and electrical installation
You have several years of experience in managing and organizing construction sites for industrial and commercial customers, ideally in the field of renewable energies
You will bring valuable practical tips for dealing with disruptions in the construction process as well as important liability issues and you will be familiar with the currently valid standards, regulations and legal provisions
You have excellent communication and assertive skills, are a team player and impress with your competent and determined demeanor
You are flexible, have a high level of self-motivation, work in a structured, self-responsible and reliable manner
You act in a solution- and result-oriented manner and have a high customer and service orientation
You are interested in accompanying changes, improving processes and playing a key role in shaping company growth
You speak German and English fluently and have a class B driving license
