Job Summary:
We are seeking a Cost Analyst to join our finance team. This role involves determining accurate product costs, supporting decision-making through cost evaluations, and ensuring the efficiency of financial processes related to manufacturing and sales. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cost accounting, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:

Calculate landing costs of imported raw and packaging materials

Determine unit cost of finished goods for all Emzor products

Assess sales/marketing proposals for discounts, promotions, and sales pushes, advising management accordingly

Generate factory efficiency reports, including:

Downtime analysis

Yield/output analysis

Labour efficiency
-
Wastage and loss tracking

Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) mix and cost accuracy on Oracle ERP system

Evaluate and appraise project tenders, special projects, and public-private partnerships (PPPs) for management decision-making
Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
-
HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Part-qualified ICAN or ACCA (or currently pursuing)

Experience:

2–3 years relevant experience in costing, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems is an advantage
