Dewey Smart (deweysmart.com) is an education technology company that provides personalized tutoring, enrichment, and college admissions counseling services to high school students. Our platform connects students with college students from top schools for mentorship from freshman year of high school to freshman year of college and beyond.
About the role
Dewey Smart values outcomes over process. This position will focus on measuring and improving the following outcomes:
- Lead Quantity – Number of meetings that marketing efforts are able to set with a member of our enrollment/sales team
- Lead quality – Cost per lead by channel, level of intent from the lead
What will you do?
- Responsible for ideating, experimenting, and analyzing performance with new marketing channels; this role is generative – you’ll be writing checklists and processes, not just executing them
- Execute email campaigns to our entire audience and audience segments via Mailchimp
- Market and produce informative webinars from end-to-end: webinar creation, email invitations, social media promotions, and post-webinar content creation
- Manage all social channels and build out social media templates via Canva (with the option to manage high school interns to support in the process)
- Build out a programmatic SEO strategy on Webflow with the goal of increasing our search rank
- Ensure marketing-related data is in all relevant systems, leveraging no-code automation tools like Zapier
- Especially during peak seasons, take ownership of full-cycle sales/enrollment processes for some set of leads; while this running sales processes will never be a significant part of the role, we think it’s important for marketing to understand sales processes

- You have past admissions counseling experience, particularly if you’ve worked as an admissions counselor at a university

Salary Range: $41,000 – $55,000 with eligibility for metric-based performance bonuses
