Job Overview:
Workpedia Africa Ltd is hiring an experienced Factory Supervisor to manage daily operations in its furniture production facility. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, monitor production quality, ensure safety compliance, and drive efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production and staff operations

Ensure furniture production aligns with quality and design specifications

Monitor production schedules and deadlines

Train and mentor workers on assembly, finishing, and safety practices

Operate and oversee woodworking tools and machines

Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality

Minimize waste and improve production processes

Manage material inventory and coordinate restocking with procurement

Enforce factory safety and health standards

Prepare and submit performance and progress reports to management
Requirements:

Education: B.Sc. or HND in Industrial Management, Wood Technology, Engineering, or related field

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the furniture manufacturing industry

Deep knowledge of furniture production processes, woodworking machinery, and materials

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Familiarity with quality control and health & safety standards
