📊 Job Summary

The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, GAAP, and sustainability frameworks. You’ll lead a team of specialists, manage external audits, and guide clients through complex reporting and accounting standards.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)

  • Ensure all financial reports comply with regulatory and industry standards (IFRS, GAAP)

  • Manage audit readiness and respond to external auditor inquiries

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of reporting professionals

  • Offer technical guidance on complex accounting issues like revenue recognition and leases

  • Monitor evolving financial and sustainability reporting standards

  • Expand sustainability and integrated reporting services

  • Improve reporting processes, tools, and compliance systems

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve reporting issues

✅ Requirements

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)

  • Bachelor’s or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics (minimum Second Class Upper or Upper Credit)

  • Professional membership (e.g., ICAN or equivalent)

  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience in reporting, auditing, or assurance (3+ years in management)

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ISA, and sustainability frameworks

  • Proven experience in sustainability and integrated reporting

  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
