📊 Job Summary
The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, GAAP, and sustainability frameworks. You’ll lead a team of specialists, manage external audits, and guide clients through complex reporting and accounting standards.
🔍 Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)

Ensure all financial reports comply with regulatory and industry standards (IFRS, GAAP)

Manage audit readiness and respond to external auditor inquiries

Lead, mentor, and train a team of reporting professionals

Offer technical guidance on complex accounting issues like revenue recognition and leases

Monitor evolving financial and sustainability reporting standards

Expand sustainability and integrated reporting services

Improve reporting processes, tools, and compliance systems

Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve reporting issues
✅ Requirements

Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)

Bachelor’s or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics (minimum Second Class Upper or Upper Credit)
-
Professional membership (e.g., ICAN or equivalent)

At least 7+ years of relevant experience in reporting, auditing, or assurance (3+ years in management)

Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ISA, and sustainability frameworks

Proven experience in sustainability and integrated reporting

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
