We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Football Operations Executive at the Premier League.

The Role:

As a Football Operations Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Review and moderation of Match Delegate reports, and identification of key issues following each Premier League match
  • Support the review and investigation of operational and football regulatory issues
  • Support the administration and management of the Match Delegate group as required
  • Produce statistics, analysis and assessment of on-field football matters purposes as required
  • Support the pre- and post-meeting process of the PL Key Match Incident Panel
  • Attend Premier League Match Centre and lead the delivery of match day operations as required
  • Work alongside internal departments (including but not limited to Communications, Broadcast, Business Intelligence and Football Development) on cross-team projects and other Business initiatives as required
  • Support working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Provide general support to Football Operations activities, projects and initiatives
  • Support the preparation and delivery of Football Operations events and meetings
  • Provide support for the review and development of Football Operations documents, including competition guidance, manuals and handbooks

The Candidate:

The ideal Football Operations Executive will have:

  • A background working in a similar position
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects
  • First-class interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines
  • The ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
