About the Role:

A reputable company in Ikeja is currently recruiting for the position of a Front Desk Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail. This role requires someone who is well-organized, friendly, and able to communicate effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and professionally handle all incoming telephone calls and inquiries.

  • Greet guests, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them accordingly.

  • Collect, sort, and distribute mail, messages, and courier deliveries.

  • Maintain stock and request office supplies as needed.

  • Ensure the reception and surrounding areas are clean and presentable at all times.

  • Promote a positive and professional image of the organization through face-to-face and phone interactions.

  • Support internal communication and maintain an organized front desk filing system.


Requirements:

  • Female candidates preferred.

  • Must reside within or around Ikeja, Lagos.

  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar front desk or administrative role.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional qualifications are a plus.

  • Must be available for immediate resumption.

  • Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Polite, mature, well-presented, and customer-focused.


Work Environment:

  • Full-time, onsite position based in Ikeja, Lagos.

  • Professional and supportive team environment.

  • Standard working hours (Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM).
