About the Role
Global Oceon Engineers Nigeria Limited is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Global Strategy Director to lead strategic planning and business expansion from Lagos. This role will involve developing and executing global strategies, aligning teams across regions, and identifying emerging opportunities to strengthen competitive advantage. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and must be prepared for frequent international travel.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of international business strategies.

Incubate new initiatives and identify global growth opportunities.

Monitor global market trends, risks, and competitive landscapes.

Collaborate with senior leaders to set long-term objectives and drive business transformation.

Align cross-functional and cross-regional teams toward strategic priorities.

Oversee high-impact global projects from conception to execution.

Foster and manage strategic partnerships across markets.

Provide executive-level reporting on KPIs and strategic performance.

Make data-driven decisions using market insights, analytics, and forecasting.
Qualifications

Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Business, Strategy, Finance, or related).

At least 10 years’ experience in senior strategy roles, preferably in a multinational or international business environment.

Strong background in strategic planning, business development, and market intelligence.

Proven leadership of global teams and strategic projects.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical and highly adaptive to a fast-paced international business landscape.

Culturally aware with a global mindset and ability to work across geographies.

Willingness to travel internationally (up to 75%) as required.
