Job Description
The Monster Group is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to use their artistic abilities to communicate ideas, inform consumers, and visually bring our brands to life. A successful graphic designer at The Monster Group will have a keen eye for detail and will be well-versed in print design, digital design, and will have the ability to take a product from conception to execution. Must include portfolio to be considered!
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a collaborative, adaptable, results-driven team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, keep stakeholders informed and consistently meet deadlines.
- Create and design various materials for print (packaging) and digital collateral
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field. Equivalent combination of relevant experience may be substituted for education as appropriate.
- Minimum 3 years creative at either an in-house brand or agency experience Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Superior organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to convey concepts and give design direction through layouts and effective written and verbal communication
- Strong business and analytical skills
- Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Packaging experience is a MUST!
- Excellent eye for detail required.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time and work at a computer is required. This position is remote temporarily, the position will be onsite after headquarters grand opening summer 2025, paid relocation available.
