Head of B2C / E-Commerce Europe

What we’re looking for

An experienced and strategic-minded Head of B2C (eCommerce) to lead our eCommerce division and drive growth in both traffic and sales for our platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in eCommerce, with a focus on SEO strategy, traffic generation, conversion rate optimization, and market share growth. This role will require a deep understanding of eCommerce trends, customer behaviour, and the ability to drive results in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, setting clear goals and expectations

Develop and Execute SEO Strategy:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive organic traffic
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and adjust strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement

Drive Traffic to the eCommerce Platform:

  • Develop and execute traffic generation strategies across various channels, including paid advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and partnerships
  • Identify new opportunities for customer acquisition and expansion into new markets

Improve Conversion Rates:

  • Analyse user behaviour, conversion funnels, and A/B testing results to identify opportunities for improving conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI team to optimize the user experience and streamline the conversion process

Increase Basket Size:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to encourage customers to increase the size of their shopping baskets
  • Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques and personalized recommendations to drive larger transactions

Drive AIR Brands and Partners Market Share:

  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to identify and promote high-margin, high-demand products or services
  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with key brands to enhance the company’s market share

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyse eCommerce performance metrics, generate reports, and present actionable insights to the executive team
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize strategies.

KPI Responsibilities:

  • Traffic (# Visits) and Trafic Share (%)
  • Conversion Rate (%)
  • Consumer Data (# Records)
  • Average Basket Size ($)
  • Net Revenue (NTO) and Gross Margin (GM)
  • BEI for B2C

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in eCommerce or Digital, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing SEO strategies, driving organic traffic, and increasing conversion rates
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce technologies, platforms, and industry trends
  • Experience working with eCommerce analytics tools and SEO software
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and meet deadlines.
