Full Job Description

This prestigious home in Palm Beach, FL, requires a House Manager to look after every aspect of the day-to-day running of the property. The family travels frequently and maintains other properties around the globe, so some travel may be required. Please only reply if you meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in managing large-scale properties
• Previously employed by HNW family
• Right to work in the USA, we can only accept people with US visas
• Excellent references – background checks will be performed

The role

• Overseeing the property in its entirety, setting high standards, and exceeding them
• Staff management of a team of 8, comprising internal and external
• Ultimate responsible for Maintenance, Security, House Keeping
• Looking after HR, recruitment, staff performance, training and appraisals
• Liaise with family office re. expenses, accounts, and ad hoc projects
• A weekly rota of staff, scheduling weekend and holiday cover
• Co-ord of family entertainment, sometimes with external caterers
• Working closely with the Principal; comfortable acting as a Gentleman’s Valet
• Manage personal collections of wine, cars, and objet d’art

You should be

• Meticulous in your delivery of a top-class service
• A hands-on Manager, leading by example
• Well-versed in the finer aspects of life, e.g., décor, clothing, current style
• Be personable, have a friendly and collaborative work ethic

The Offer

• An excellent financial package on offer, $150 – 170k depending on experience
• The Principal would like a long-term relationship, and the package on offer will reflect that.
• Loyalty and longevity will be rewarded.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
