Stretford Hill Limited is a growing construction company looking for a Human Resources Officer with solid experience in employee lifecycle management, policy implementation, and employee relations.
Role Summary
The HR Officer will manage end-to-end HR functions — from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations — ensuring HR operations align with company goals and Nigerian Labour Law.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding

Conduct pre-employment background checks

Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions

Implement and manage performance management systems

Provide HR guidance to staff and management

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation

Coordinate employee training and development programs

Assist with payroll, benefits, and compensation activities

Ensure HR policies comply with labour laws and industry best practices

Prepare reports, HR analytics, and documentation

Manage leave, attendance, and general HR administration
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Public Admin, or a related field

Minimum 4 years of progressive HR generalist experience

CIPM certification (or equivalent) is compulsory

Deep understanding of Nigerian Labour Law

Experience in end-to-end recruitment & onboarding

Proficient with HRIS and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
