Responsibilities

1. Assist in the analysis, review, and recommendation of investment opportunities including new investments, extensions and amendments
2. Conduct thorough due diligence of pertinent investment documents and synthesize information into concise investment memorandums
3. Conduct research to support investment opportunities
4. Support portfolio managers in the monitoring of existing investments
5. Assist in preparing detailed portfolio reporting and presentations to both QuadReal and BCI Management
6. Actively adhere to compliance and risk management policies

Qualifications and Experience

1. Education – Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or Economics. Working towards CFA as an asset
2. Analytical – Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
3. Communication – Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
4. Organization – Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and changes.
5. Comfortable following directions but also contributing to the direction.
6. Software – Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.
7. Relationship – Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.
8. Values – Embrace and proactively support QuadReal’s values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility.
9. Experience – Previous experience working with a real estate company (asset manager or developer), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, an appraisal firm, or a real estate lender is desirable.
