Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract an IT Support/ Serialization to join our Business Applications & Systems Validation team at Pharmathen’s Sapes premises.
As a IT Support/ Serialization you will deal with the development and validation of the IT Serialization Product Tracking application (SPT), supervise on a daily basis all serialized machines-server-master data and give feedback directly to key stakeholders, perform serialization operations to support transmission of data and serial numbers availability and support in general Business Applications depending on the IT department needs. He/she will be responsible to provide technical assistance and support to internal users, ensure smooth and efficient operation of our computer systems and networks, troubleshooting and non-standard maintenance of data servers, user devices, systems, applications, and communications links.
More particularly:
What you’ll do:
- Support core IT team and handle tickets related to his/her responsibilities
- Administrate Serialization applications
- Manage Master Data and handle them across Serialization applications, according to facility needs
- Participate at generation and execution of various GMP related documents and protocols, including several of the followings: URS, FS/DS, IQ, OQ & PQ
- Create advanced reports using any report designing tool
- Support hardware troubleshooting and Serialization operations
- Provide first and second technical support level to end-users via various channels (phone, e-mail, chat) for incidents and requests regarding network, workplace, telephony, mobile devices, call center, desktops, laptops, applications, printers, tablets (e.g., iPads) and other peripherals and office and server room infrastructure
- Perform daily check of the data office infrastructures such as Cabling, UPS, AC, Power generators and backups to ensure optimal performance and security
- Manage the local Employee onboarding/offboarding processes
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components
- Participate in local & international IT projects and manage telephony, videoconference, and meeting rooms’ infrastructure
- Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and coordinate problem resolution
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in IT systems and user support, and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent field
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT
- Experience on User port / IT support will be considered an asset
Job-Specific Skills
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of business and IT applicationsGood technical background in IT
- Infrastructure, Windows Server, PC platform administration, WAN and LAN data networks, server room management, back up storage management
- Understanding of computer networks, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
- Good knowledge of English language
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
