Job Description

Responsibilities 

• Be part of the front office developer team to design, develop and enhance software applications and solutions for the securities trading desk, Delta One desk, sales and operational teams.
• Work closely with business units to collect, analyse and review requirements, perform in-depth business analysis
• Write technical and functional specifications, develop codes
• Participate in codes review, partner with developer team in performing SIT & UAT, support and training for implementation
• Provide production support to resolve operational issues, identify the root cause of incidents, ensure production stability

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer and developer within the banking and financial services industry
• Proven track records in Kotlin or Core Java development (Kotlin, Java 8+, Spring Boot)
• Knowledgeable about domain-driven design, Cloud Native architecture principles
• Proven experience in Agile, TDD, continuous delivery, and modern software development paradigms
• Proven expertise in efficiently supporting complex production chains using modern frameworks and concepts (ELK, Prometheus, SLI/SLO/SLA, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Equity derivatives products (Equity finance, Delta1 and Prime Brokerage preferred)
• Technical background in Linux is preferable.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and the public cloud is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, well organised, critical thinking, solution-oriented
• Good team player, able to coach team members, proactive, innovative, passionate about technology
• Good communications skills, fluent in English
