Responsibilties

• As a professional software and cloud solution engineer, you will aid in all technical discussions with their architects.
• The platform team members define the best solutions and participate in design reviews.
• You will be in a supporting role as part of a team dedicated to writing test-based, clean and reusable code.
• You will contribute to the complete development process regarding customised omnichannel solutions.
• You are involved in all phases of the project lifecycle: from the first customer contact to the planning and implementation of the project.
• You are interested in the complete stack from backend to web applications.
• Like creating new functionality for solutions in close collaboration with all team members.
• Grow into a solution partner for applications where developers and customers are involved.
• Transferring services and technical coordination with the operational departments are essential milestones in this process.
• Their experienced team will guide you toward becoming a professional architect.

Qualifications

• Hold a University degree or complete an IT-related education program.
• Are confident in the world of AWS and cloud technologies.
• Have basic IT knowledge of infrastructure components.
• Has expertise in the areas of hosting and managed services.
• Have first experiences with everyday OpenSource application landscapes.
• Have experience collaborating with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Have very good written and spoken English language skills.

Extra qualifications that would be great to have

• Has AWS certifications or speciality and knowledge in the field of automation
• Has expertise in developing highly available, secure and fault-tolerant architectures in the cloud.
• Have experience in building e-commerce systems.
• Are familiar with various software design models.
• Have experience in solving business problems using a variety of programming languages.
• Any experience in agile development methods and sprint planning is an advantage.
• Have excellent presentation- and communication skills.
