Job Description
As a legal manager, your job duties include drafting and reviewing contracts, searching for relevant regulatory documents, and providing legal advice to company management. This job requires leadership, strong negotiating, and excellent communication skills.A foreign-affiliated company is looking for a legal manager. This position allows you to utilize your experience and knowledge in an environment unique to a major company.
- Contract review
- Examination and drafting of various contracts (mainly in Japanese, some in English) based on requests from departments in charge
- litigation management
- Coordination between the department in charge and the representative attorney, review of related documents such as briefs, etc.
Requirements
- Attorney-at-law holders have at least 3 years of working experience
- At least 5 years of legal experience in a general company (financial industry) if not qualified to be a lawyer
- Experience in the legal department of a general company (experience related to finance)
- Experience related to insurance/securities is a plus
