Research Assistant (Testing)

Website Lifework

A research assistant, or RA, is a researcher employed, often on a temporary contract, by a university, a research institute, or a privately held organization to assist in academic or private research.

Research assistants are not independent and are responsible to a supervisor or principal investigator and usually are not directly responsible for the research outcome.

However, research assistants can contribute to the research outcome in some countries. Research assistants are often educated to a degree level and might be enrolled in a postgraduate degree program and simultaneously teach; for example, if enrolled in a Ph.D. program, they are known as Doctoral Research Assistants.

This individual will support processes related to the Research department. This position assists with coordinating projects by prioritizing needs based on their order of importance and directs team efforts to achieve specific deadlines.

This position is responsible for completing all projects delegated by the Breeder Assistant with precision and accuracy.
