Job Summary
The Mechanical Completions Engineer is responsible for overseeing safe installation, troubleshooting, mechanical completions, and development of procedures across engineering, construction, and commissioning stages. This includes interfacing with teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership:

Provide professional leadership to technicians across all departments.

Support the company’s HSE goals (Goal Zero).

Advise internal teams on mechanical commissioning matters.
Technical/Project Delivery:

Participate in planning, scheduling, and scope development for mechanical commissioning.

Support pre-commissioning and commissioning phases from planning to handover.

Prepare punch lists for pending tasks before commissioning.

Develop system/subsystem breakdowns, ITRs (check-sheets), DACs, MACs, SACs, and FACs.

Monitor subcontractors’ work quality and progress on-site.

Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and maintain client/vendor relationships.

Develop and implement work procedures, ensure documentation compliance.

Assist in reviewing proposals from mechanical subcontractors and participate in project review meetings.
Requirements

Education: HND or higher in Engineering

Certifications: Professional Trade Certificate

Experience:
-
Minimum 7 years in mechanical installation, calibration, and troubleshooting

At least 3 years in a supervisory role

Familiarity with completion software and commissioning processes
