If you are a professional with industry experience and looking for an opportunity to drive innovative approaches to build a community of loyal Industrial Automation customers and partners, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in Italy, you will build this community around several key pillars, including 1) a searchable library of content and short videos organized around essential topics required to be successful with the use and deployment of Emerson’s IIoT, Edge, HMI, Supervisory Control, Plant Analytic and other software products and 2) a forum structured to support collaboration between customers of the associated Emerson software products.The successful candidate should understand approaches used by leading companies in the Industrial Software space while keeping an open mind to innovate in areas others are not to build differentiation into Emerson’s solution.This role provides the opportunity to work closely with Emerson Marketing professionals on the content delivery mechanism, the accreditation of partners, and promotion to build out and serves the community.  The role requires close collaboration with Product Managers and associated technology, service, and support leaders to help focus the content development.    The infrastructure should serve the worldwide community.

As the Product Manager for the Movicon Academy and Community, you will:

• Evaluate competitor offerings looking for best practices and opportunities to differentiate
• Establish a content plan, manage and participate in the production of required material, and define the required Platform to enable Academy capabilities.
• Develop the process for connecting community participants with customers
• Work with Marketing on the delivery mechanism and the infrastructure for tracking the training levels of community partners, including integrators, OEMs, and Solution Providers
• Develop campaigns to attract people to the community and for keeping them engaged.
• Actively engage in the community, ensuring positive communications are focused on consumption and using the relevant Emerson industrial software products.
• Frequently solicit feedback from the community and adjust content and direction as required.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on the community engagement and growth
• Hold regular webinars or in-person events focused on continuous education of partners.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Business, Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited University
• Exposure to Industrial Software markets and customers
• Experience with Digital Methods for sharing content and driving engagement
• Strong communication skills
• Competency in both Italian and English
• Understanding of modern communication methods through communities, forums, social media, and other digital approaches
• Comfortable developing and producing content for a global audience

Desired Characteristics

• Direct experience with Industrial Software products, including HMI/SCADA and IIoT
• Experience delivering software product training to integrators and end customers
• Additional spoken/written languages
• Experience working with and/or managing an industry forum
• Experience developing a constant stream of exciting content to keep people engaged and coming back to the various forums
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to marketing

Average Salary: €44,500
