Production Assistant

The SPA Studios, the award-winning feature animation studio, is selecting a talented and career-ready Production Assistant for its next animated feature movie.

Context:

The responsibility of a PRODUCTION ASSISTANT is to report to the Production Coordinator (and/or to the Production Supervisor) of the assigned departments. She/he helps to organise and deliver tasks on time.

Responsibilities:

1. Take notes in reviews and meetings.
2. Responsible for various daily office activities: schedule meetings, book rooms, travel arrangements, prepare, file, and distribute notes.
3. Run errands.
4. Awareness of work in progress in the department and on the show.
5. Assist the Production Coordinator in ensuring files are properly updated, and task lists are maintained.

Job Requirements

• Computer skills: email/Office and knowledge of SHOTGRID or any other production tracking tool.
• Flexibility and strong initiative, together with excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage and prioritise their own workload.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend technical information
• Exercise good judgement when faced with problematic issues.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• English is a must, as the work will be developed in this language.
• Ability/right to work in Madrid, Spain.
• At least 1 years of professional experience in animation (movie, DTV, TV series), VFX or Games industry as the role requires a solid understanding of the 2D and 3D animation process.
