Job Summary
The Program Officer will support the design, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all program activities. The role involves high-level stakeholder engagement, technical guidance, team supervision, documentation, and leading community-based interventions—especially related to Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation

Develop Terms of Reference (ToRs), training agendas, and program materials.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality program activities aligned with strategic goals.

Coordinate annual work-plans and review their alignment with organization and donor goals.

Conduct regular field visits and coordinate stakeholder meetings.
Technical & Community Engagement
-
Lead GBV awareness campaigns and stakeholder dialogues (elders, youth, women, men).
-
Support national guideline dissemination on life-saving protocols.

Organize and supervise trainings for TOTs, community volunteers, psychosocial counselors, and local government staff.

Strengthen community-led protection networks and GBV referral systems.
Monitoring, Reporting & Evaluation

Work with the M&E team to track project progress and impact.

Submit weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

Identify and address project implementation bottlenecks.

Lead the development and distribution of IEC/BCC materials related to GBV.
Team Management & Coordination

Supervise field teams, evaluate performance, and ensure accountability.
-
Manage project resources and ensure proper use of equipment.
-
Engage with government officials and partners during coordination meetings.
Advocacy & Partnership Development

Liaise with relevant ministries (Health, Education, Youth, Women Affairs).

Build strategic partnerships and networks for resource mobilization and sustainability.

Ensure integration of GBV priorities into partner programs.
