Job Description
Manage the purchase of products and services for their employers. They serve as the liaison in negotiations between their company and suppliers. They are responsible for assessing vendors, negotiating new deals, renegotiating expiring contracts, and placing orders for products and services.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Review all vendors and suppliers
- Maintain purchase records and other vital data
- Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
- Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
- Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
- Work with team members to complete duties as needed
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers
Skills
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the same field within Kuwait
- F&B experience is a must
- Experience working with any Purchasing system (Micros, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.)
- Transferable Visa
- Immediate joiners
- Ability to multitask, priorities, and manage time efficiently
