📝 Job Summary:
As the Royalty Associate, you’ll ensure accurate and timely royalty payments to artists, producers, and songwriters. You’ll manage financial reporting, maintain compliance with contracts, and support audit and reconciliation efforts—making sure Mavin’s stars get paid what they’ve earned.
🔑 Responsibilities:

Calculate, track, and process royalty payments

Maintain accurate royalty records and reports

Reconcile royalty statements; support audits

Liaise with artists and internal teams (legal, finance, A&R)

Interpret contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy

Generate royalty trend reports for internal planning

Support system automation and process improvements
✅ Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

2+ years in royalty accounting, finance, or music industry

Deep understanding of publishing and royalty structures

Strong analytical and Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Experience working in fast-paced environments
