Job Summary:
The Security Guards Recruitment Officer / Supervisor manages the full lifecycle of security personnel — from recruitment and onboarding to daily supervision and performance management. This role ensures all security staff are properly vetted, trained, and consistently maintain high standards of professionalism and vigilance.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified security guards

Screen applications, conduct interviews, and manage scheduling

Coordinate background checks, license verifications, and medical clearances

Organize orientation and training on company policies, legal requirements, and security protocols
Training & Development

Ensure new hires complete mandatory training (e.g., access control, emergency response, first aid)

Identify ongoing training needs and coordinate refresher courses

Monitor guard competencies and certify according to standards
Supervision & Operations Management

Oversee daily deployment of security personnel across posts and shifts

Prepare and maintain guard schedules ensuring compliance with labor laws

Conduct site inspections and patrols to assess guard performance and procedure adherence
Performance & Discipline

Set performance expectations and KPIs (attendance, incident reporting, response times)

Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans

Investigate disciplinary matters and recommend corrective actions as needed
Compliance & Reporting

Maintain accurate personnel records, training logs, and incident reports

Ensure all security activities comply with company policies and regulations

Prepare reports for senior management on recruitment, staffing, and incidents
Team Leadership & Culture

Foster professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Serve as primary contact for security staff, addressing concerns and encouraging communication

Lead by example with integrity, vigilance, and excellent customer service
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in security recruitment, supervision, or HR in the security industry

Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills

Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities

In-depth knowledge of security regulations, licensing, and standards

Proven leadership and team motivation skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/recruitment software
