Job Summary:

PalmPay is hiring a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to protect its assets, staff, and premises. The ideal candidate will monitor security systems, enforce access control, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor company premises to prevent intrusions or theft

• Enforce access control by verifying employees, visitors, and contractors

• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activities

• Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies and take appropriate actions

• Conduct routine security checks and risk assessments

• Assist in investigations and prepare incident reports

• Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and security events

• Educate staff on safety protocols and procedures

• Liaise with emergency services or law enforcement when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or Guard

• Minimum of High School Certificate (SSCE)

• Security certification or training is a plus

• Familiar with CCTV systems, security protocols, and access control

• Physically fit and alert with strong observation skills

• Good communication and report-writing skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure
