Role Overview:
Responsible for protecting the premises, personnel, and assets through vigilant patrols, monitoring, access control, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment

Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points

Control entry and exit to allow authorized personnel and block unauthorized access

Identify and report suspicious activities, enforce policies, and restrain intruders if necessary

Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, contact authorities as needed

Record detailed daily activity and incident reports
-
Manage on-site traffic to ensure safe vehicle movement
-
Monitor building and equipment controls to maintain safety

Ensure compliance with security laws and company policies
Requirements:

HND qualification
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as a security officer or similar role preferred
-
Ability to operate surveillance and emergency equipment
-
Strong observational, problem-solving, and reporting skills
-
Good physical fitness for extended patrols

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
High integrity and professionalism
-
Knowledge of security operations and procedures

Ability to work independently and in a team

Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
