Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our Accounting & Finance Department. This role demands strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Finance and Accounting team with strategic direction.

Oversee general ledger operations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reconcile company accounts and deliver financial analysis reports.

Ensure full compliance with statutory taxes (NSITF, PAYE, WHT, VAT, Pension).

Lead budgeting and forecasting alongside management.

Monitor financial performance and provide data-driven recommendations.

Maintain financial records using Sage or similar accounting software.

Supervise payroll processing and staff compensation accuracy.

Ensure strict internal controls and financial policy adherence.

Oversee cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and audit processes.

Liaise with regulatory bodies (CBN, FIRS, etc.) and prepare returns.

Recruit, train, and manage junior finance staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:

B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

ICAN or ACCA certification is mandatory.

Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, with 3 years in senior leadership.

Strong command of Nigerian financial regulations.

Proficient in Sage and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
