The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will plan and execute content on social media and support the Marketing team’s efforts to expand Marmalade’s reach. You’ll combine your strong creative instincts with your keen attention to detail and organizational skills to manage Marmalade’s accounts and help us tell our story across Instagram and TikTok.

Who You Are:

  • You live and breathe social media. You are a digital native with strong fluency across social media and content channels, and you stay current with cultural trends
  • You are extremely detail-oriented: nothing slips by you, and you’re used to juggling a few different projects at once while keeping track of the little things!
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong writing skills
  • You are independent, resourceful, and self-motivated; you’re solutions-oriented when faced with new challenges
  • You thrive working in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating closely with a remote team

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and execute engaging social media content in line with our content calendar and branding guidelines.
  • Manage social media accounts for engagement and comments
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, freelance content creators, and other team members to ensure content is on schedule and aligns with our brand
  • Support special marketing campaigns and initiatives, like giveaways and brand partnerships
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs to track the success of campaigns and optimize content for maximum reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with team members across Marketing and Community to support projects aimed at growing and engaging our community of users

Requirements

 

  • Entry level or internship experience in social media, preferably for a consumer-facing brand
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Bonus: experience growing a social media account for a company or brand
  • Familiarity & experience with Tiktok and Instagram
  • Basic design and editing skills in Figma, Canva, CapCut & Adobe programs
  • Ability to adapt, change direction, and reprioritize as the needs at our early-stage startup evolve
  • Team player with a can-do mentality and ability to work independently on a fast-paced team

Details:

  • Contract role with the potential to transition to full-time
  • 40 hrs/week
  • $23–$25/hour based on location and experience
  • 100% remote
