🧾 Job Summary:

Daystar Power Energy Solution is looking for a Solar Panel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the preventative maintenance of large-scale solar power systems in Lagos. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrical engineer with proven experience in solar maintenance and a strong understanding of HSE protocols. You will manage a team responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring optimal performance of solar installations, while driving operational excellence through organized planning and strict safety compliance.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on solar systems

  • Oversee cleaning, cable inspections, junction box checks, and PV system diagnostics

  • Capture and document “before and after” site images

  • Develop weekly team maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with annual plans

  • Report weekly on all maintenance activities

  • Enforce HSE compliance during operations

  • Ensure all personnel possess necessary fitness and certification documents

  • Report safety incidents and near-misses in line with company policy

🎓 Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical or renewable energy roles (solar system maintenance preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and preventative maintenance

  • HSE certification is an added advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Word)

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects
