Job Description
Sizable manufacturing (one of the largest in its category) is headquartered in Hong Kong, with a supply chain network dotted across the globe.
The Sustainability Manager will formulate the corporate-level sustainability strategies, framework, and action plans and monitor the implementation. Following the company direction, the Manager will research industry best practices, perform gap analysis, identify opportunities, and design metrics for measurements of progress.
Besides these core sustainability program deliveries, the Manager will actively work with CSR and Corporate Communication teams to tell the company’s stories in sustainable development and responsible production. Hence, this role is essential for excellent stakeholder engagement, public speaking, and written communication skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have obtained a degree in business, communications, sustainability, environmental science, or related fields. Knowledge and experience in sustainability, including recent trends, best practices, standards, and protocols.
Excellent project management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role. Prior experience in greenhouse gas (GHG) measurements and ESG reporting is advantageous.
The company targets emerging managers/leaders with 5-7 years of experience.
